Course Description:

What can we do to make meetings more effective? Are there simple ways to get what we want? What questions should we ask when planning a meeting? How do we prevent problems or deal with them during a meeting? Effective Meetings addresses these situations.

Target Audience and Duration:

This full-day class is for anyone who plans and runs meetings. The first part of the class addresses planning and structuring a meeting to make it effective. The second part acquaints participants with a variety of facilitation techniques. Either part can be offered independently as a stand-alone half-day session.
